Empathy. Expertise. Execution. Exceptional!
Connections Call
We begin with a Zoom call so I can learn about your family and to learn what goals and opportunities you would like to pursue.
We'll discuss the broad strokes of your situation, and we'll start enabling our systems to see the balances in your accounts.
We'll agree on topics we'll address, what data we need, and next steps.
Data Gathering
We'll need a lot of confidential information to do our best work for you.
We will need complete copies of your tax returns. We will likely request Social Security statements, benefit statements, insurance policy declarations, your complete estate plan, and other materials relevant to the topics we'll address.
The most time-consuming part will be assessing your total cash outflows for a typical year. This can be labor-intensive, but supremely important! We will give you a template and can discuss the easiest ways to gather this information, based on your particular situation.
We ask you to upload these directly from your computer to our secure systems, so nothing confidential passes through email. We use industry-standard tools, which are built on advanced encryption and protection methods.
Verification Call
On our second Zoom call, we'll review together the net worth and cash flow projections we will build. This is a key working session affecting the accuracy of the advice we develop for you. You'll want to be at a full-size computer screen, not a small tablet or phone.
We will also make sure we have correctly captured any alternative scenarios.
And we will brainstorm together any changes you might consider if the initial projections show that financial resources may become more plentiful or more constrained.
We'll let you know if any additional data or clarifications are needed, and will agree on next steps.
Plan Presentation
This is the fun part! We will share easy-to-grasp projections, in visual form, showing your potential portfolio growth in the future, the effects of inflation, investment ups and downs, and assessing whether your resources seem likely to support the spending you have in mind.
Then we review alternative scenarios and agree together on which courses of action seem most compelling.
Our discussion is supported by detailed cash flow projections, the ability to see your tax bracket and components of income each year, and other relevant details.
You will come away with a clear understanding of how investments, spending, and taxes interact with each other to support your best life.
If we are diving deeper into gifting and estate strategies, we'll have illustratoins of how your decision now can further support your loved ones, charities, and broader community.
The most important outcome of this process is your personal ACTION PLAN to make it all happen!
ACTION PLAN Partnership
We take immediate action on key items we can handle.
We reach out to your tax, legal, and other advisers to instigate action on items they can handle.
We help you to make decisions and move ahead on items only you can handle. We check in regularly, and conduct a few scheduled, comprehensive calls during each year.
We keep track of open items, like those which await a tax return, or which should be done quarterly or near year-end, or which respond to other future conditions.
We update the ACTION PLAN and make it always visible to you online, so everyone is working from the same system, to ensure that you make progress toward the goals you identified.
We update the financial projections periodically, as time passes. We develop new goals as we go. We're your partners in action!
